CommercialFeed

The success of livestock farming is largely dependent on the continuous supply of good quality nutritious feeds at competitive price. Raw materials like maize. wheat, broken rice, sunflower meal, soya bean meal and fish will be used to generate the output which will be used to cater to the growing needs of poultry feed in Uganda

We have a mash feed mill of capacity 20 tons/hour and a pellet feed mill of 7 tons/ hour capacity . Our silos can store 8,000 tons of Feed in Luwero district. Our Feeds are formulated under the supervision of technical vets at our lab facility .

Our Community

Overview

Mother Kevin Providence Social Enterprise Business, is a sustainable path for the Little Sisters of St. Francis, to be able to generate and increase our productivity to gain self-reliance and financial sustainability in the long term. This is supported by the value of hard work instilled in us by our Foundress Mother Mary Kevin the Servant of God and the mission of empowering single mothers and youth and bringing about transformation in the communities we serve in Jinja. This mission is in line with the first Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) which states No poverty, which in my opinion can also address the following goals; zero hunger, gender equality, reduce inequality, climate action, and partnership for the goal. The SE is integral and can greatly contribute towards SDGs and supporting the planet.

Charism

To bring newness and fullness of Christ's life with compassion to the vulnerable and marginalized through service to humanity.

Goal

To foster innovative entrepreneurs and skilled communities, who feel empowered to create sustainable, organic poultry farms that support the planet.

Mission Statement

Empowering and promoting Holistic and Sustainable Economic Growth and Development in Jinja communities through teaching about life skills and poultry farming while caring for the planet

Unemployed and lack of opportunities is a big threat to Humanity, Inadequate income opportunities have led the majority of Single mothers and youth in Jinja –Uganda into drug abuse, prostitution, and human trafficking..
