We are committed to consistently delivering healthy, premium-quality day old chicks to our customers. We are currently producing 200,000 pre-vaccinated Day Old Broiler chicks per week and would be starting the production and sale of Day Old Layer chicks shortly.
Each step of our production chain, right from procuring our parent stock to their rearing and hatching, is controlled to ensure only top quality hatching eggs are sent to our hatchery. Our hatchery processes these eggs in a stringent sanitary environment with the best market practices to obtain premium quality chicks.

Healthy broilers for
healthy profits
Our broiler chicks are raised for meat production. They are fed a diet of grains and protein sources to reach their desired size and mass quickly. They are a common source of meat for human consumption, and are sold as whole birds or as cut-up parts such as breasts, thighs,and wings

Our commercial layers are reared for egg production, and are high producers with a longer production period and high peak production. The birds have high liveability owing to a high level of immunity. The egg shells are strong and brown and have a longer shelf-life. The Kenchic layers have the following qualities:
- Liveability > 93.2%
- Point of lay – 18 weeks
- Laying period – 18 to 80 weeks
- Production (62 weeks) > 330 eggs per hen
- Peak production percentage > 95%
- Feed conversion ratio – 6 eggs/kg
- Body weight at 80 weeks > 2kg
- All our layer come debeaked.
The free-range bird
robust to disease and reared for both eggs and meat
Kenbro is a free-range bird that is resistant to disease and possesses a well-rounded conformation. These birds can be used for sustainable or commercial farming for meat or eggs.Kenbro, if managed as a layer, starts producing at 25 weeks and can be managed as a free- range, with minimum supplementary feeding and be ready for consumption or sale after 10 to 14 weeks. This bird is ideal for live market sales, and as a replacement for indigenous chicken
